How do I change the text inside of a text object? How do the other text object features work?

To create a text object, left-click Create > Shapes 2D Filled > Text. Next, left-click in your scene to place a text object, then right-click to exit the command.

To change the text, go to the text object's "misc" menu in the left-side control panel. Type your text into the "text" field, then either right-click within the workspace or left-click on one of the other input fields such as "size" or "quality," and you will see the object's text update in the workspace.

Switch to [F3] cursor control mode to use interactive control grips for text size and leader arrow (once arrow > “use arrow” is enabled).

The video below demonstrates working with text objects in Virtual CRASH 6, 5, and 4. Note that Virtual CRASH 3 text objects have most, but not all, of the same functionality as VC6, 5, and 4.
